United is the first bank to introduce the service for the first time in Ethiopia.
United is still a sole provider of internet banking service in Ethiopia.
This service enables customers to get banking services without a need to
physically visit branches of the Bank. Customers can get a 24/7 service any
where as long as they have an internet access.
Benefits of internet Banking
A customer who subscribe to the internet banking service of the bank can
enjoy the following services:
Can have information and control the transactions made in his/her account Get an account statement online for view and/or print outs Can get an information about loan status, if the customer is a borrower of the Bank Follow-up the status of opened letter of credits Can get information regarding the daily exchange rate of major international currencies, e.t.c.
What are the procedures to use this service?
The requirement to use this peculiar service is as simple as visiting
the branch where your account is maintained, and getting a user name and a password.
Once you do this, you will automatically be eligible to utilize internet banking service.
